opcs - IT services in the Edinburgh area. opcs are the developers of this site. This site uses software called 'eBitions' which is a Content Management system designed with Artists and Photographers in mind.

Photographer Friends

The following are photographers and artists I've met while out shooting or via posting on various photography related forums.

• Blue Fin Art - Blue Fin Art is the website of Rod Goodwin whom I met Rod as part of a meetup via Flickr. Rod produces consistantly fantastic work and he's been a major influce in much of my work.

• David Dalziel Photography - I met David while out shooting at Etive Mor. Great photographer!

Software & Utilities

This is a list of utilities I use with relation to photography.

• cardWatch - A small Windows utility to copy or move images from a camera or memory card to your PC. Written by yours truly.

• Darf - A small Windows utility to periodically change your desktop wallpaper to selections from a photographers stream. Also written by me.

• GeoSetter - This is a freeware tool for Windows (XP or higher) for showing and changing geo data and other metadata (IPTC/XMP/Exif) of image files (e.g. images taken by digital cameras).

• GPicSync - A small utility to add location information to a JPG from a GPS log file.

• Resizer Lite - A rather awesome Photoshop script to resize images based on the longest side. Can also watermark with logo, fixed text or EXIF information

• The Photographer's Ephemeris - An application to tell you, among other things, sun and moon set times and direction - Uses Google Maps to show directions.

• View Flickr Photos in Google Earth
  You'll need a google account for it to work.
